Fitness Influencer Sophie Guidolin Hits Back at Fans Saying She Had ‘Fake Ab Surgery’

Fitness influencer Sophie Guidolin is clapping back at fans wondering whether her body is real.
“‘The world becomes a kinder place, once you learn how to be kind to yourself’ 🤎🥺💕,” Guidolin wrote via Instagram on Tuesday, April 29. “Excuse me please, but where are my OG @thebod_ girlies at please? In the last 24 hours I have been swamped by people saying either my photo is AI, that i have had ‘fake ab surgery’ or that it’s not possible to maintain…”
“The internet is wild for me lately, even going as far as deleting the apps off my phone for most days until I need to login for work,” she continued. “It’s been what, 11, maybe 12 years now girls? I have had the same body for most of that time. Lol.”
Guidolin shared that a “lovely lady” told her she “needed to fix” her nose and her “effed up” ears before caring about workouts.
“I like my ears. Many may not know, but I was bullied about them as they’re pointy like a pixie 🧚 🥺,” she wrote. “I have been online for over a decade now, showing up for @thebod_ so I need some of the OGs back please… what was the first memory of following me on here?”
Guidolin uploaded a video of her posing in various colorful bikinis while showing off her toned physique. In one clip, Guidolin sat with her legs submerged in the pool as she gazed forward.
“Here’s to the compilation no one asked for, of the same bikini, same day, a lot of different lights (some entirely in the shade with no definition) and sitting — just for good measure,” she wrote. “Because ffs apparently you can actually now get ‘fake AB’s’ 💁🫣😂 Here are my ‘fake ABs’ and if you would like free help — @thebod_ website has a calculator for free that I pay for, and I send free recipes out of my own time to help too. Please know, your projections still hit someone’s phone 🤎🫣.”
The text over her video read, “What was it you always used to say? The world becomes a kinder place once you learn how to be kind to yourself.”
Guidolin, who has amassed over 500,000 followers on Instagram, rose to fame by sharing her nutrition and workout tips with motivational messages. One day before her Tuesday upload, Guidolin shared a mirror selfie with her abs visible.
“‘How often do you train?’” she wrote via Instagram on Monday, April 28. “A very common question I am asked however now that I have my (12 years) of muscle mass gained… it is more about the daily habits rather than over doing it.”
