RHOC’s Jennifer Pedranti Ordered to Pay $165K After Being Sued for Unpaid Rent on Yoga Studio!
Real Housewives of Orange County star Jennifer Pedranti is facing legal trouble on multiple fronts — from a business lawsuit involving her yoga studio to an ongoing dispute with her ex-husband over support payments.
According to court documents obtained by In Touch, a judge in Orange County Superior Court has ordered Jennifer, her ex-husband William Pedranti, and two business partners to pay $160,026.60 to their former landlord, along with an additional $5,950.27 in attorney’s fees.
The lawsuit, filed in 2023 by Plaza El Paseo Center — the landlord of the shopping plaza where Jennifer’s Devi Rebel Yoga studio was located — accused Jennifer and her partners of defaulting on rent. The lease began in 2019 with a monthly rent of $4,651, following an $18,000 security deposit. Over time, the rent increased to $9,000 per month.
“On November 1, 2023, and continuing thereafter, Defendants, and each of them, failed to pay the rent obligations due and owing under the Lease in full on time,” the lawsuit claimed. Despite being served with notice of the breach, Jennifer and the other defendants allegedly failed to bring their rent current. The landlord originally demanded $130,000 in damages.
In 2024, both sides reached a settlement agreement. According to the deal, Jennifer and her business partners were to pay a total of $160,000 in three installments: two payments of $25,000 and a final payment of $85,026 due by December 31, 2024.
However, court filings allege that only the first $25,000 was paid. The remaining amounts were never received, prompting the landlord to request enforcement of the settlement terms. During an April 2 hearing, the judge approved that request.
“The unopposed Motion to Enforce Settlement … wherein Plaintiff asks the Court to enter judgment for Plaintiff Plaza El Paseo Center, LLC and against Defendants Jennifer Pedranti, William Pedranti, [and the two other business partners] in the principal amount of $160,026.60 and award attorneys’ fees and costs in accordance with the terms of the Stipulation and Order of the Court filed May 28, 2024 in the amount of $5,950.27 is GRANTED,” read the judge’s order.
This lawsuit isn’t Jennifer’s only legal entanglement. She’s also currently locked in a support battle with her ex-husband William, who appeared on RHOC during her first season. The former couple has been at odds over spousal and child support following their split.
With the rent judgment now on record and support issues still in court, it seems Jennifer’s off-camera drama is continuing to unfold just as her reality TV presence ramps up.
